WHAT CONTAINERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND?

What Can I Recycle page shows the eligible containers we accept for refunds.  Any containers that have the 10 cent refund label on them are accepted. For more information on which containers are eligible for refund visit the Containers for Change website.

HOW DO I OBTAIN A MEMBER NUMBER (PREV. SCHEME ID)?

Check out the Containers for Change website HERE and follow the prompts to obtain a member number.

 
DO YOU ACCEPT CRUSHED CANS?

With our counting systems, yes, we accept crushed cans.

 
IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MANY CONTAINERS WE CAN BRING IN FOR REFUND?

We accept all load sizes, none are too big or small. We do however have to sign off larger than 825 containers with a driver’s licence or other form of identification. Loads over 1500 containers need to be signed off with identification and a refund declaration as requested by COEX.

 
DO ALL CONTAINERS HAVE TO BE SEPARATED?

For faster service it is recommended but not necessary to separate containers.

 
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR PAYMENTS TO BE PROCESSED THROUGH MY MEMBER NUMBER?

Payments should be processed into your account by 2-3 business days after arriving at depot  If you have any problems with member number payments, please contact us.

DO I NEED TO TAKE OFF THE LIDS

If you can bring the containers with lids taken off it will make the process faster and we can recycle the lids separately
